Thursday – Special Education Today, by NJEA

This program provides an overview of the federal Individuals with Disabilities Education Act (IDEA) and NJ laws and regulations related to special education. Topics will include: interventions in general education; 504 accommodations; IEPs; discipline; class size rules; dyslexia and more. Participants will discuss how special education requirements are implemented in local school districts.
